As a result, children are limited to a small social circle or even excessive exposure to TV and phones (which are one-way interactions that do not stimulate interaction and response), causing them to miss out on this valuable foundational stage. Consequently, many children today are slower to develop language skills compared to previous generations.
At Little People, we have implemented a program called “Let’s Learn to Speak” to address these gaps and accelerate language development for children aged 18-36 months. We believe that language skills are the bridge that helps children explore the world, acquire knowledge, and develop their cognitive abilities. This program was created with the following goals:
With the “Let’s Learn to Speak” program, teachers will group children into different levels based on their current language abilities and provide appropriate interactions. The assessment-based approach and the use of corresponding flashcards make learning more engaging for children. The activities are designed to be neither too easy nor too difficult, stimulating children to learn and practice new words and sentences.
