We became “little farmers” for a day
Stepping away from their familiar classroom, our Little People children transformed into little farmers for a day during their exciting visit to a dairy farm.
As soon as they arrived, the children jumped into a fun and energetic activity – a grass-carrying game. Passing bundles of fresh green grass from one to another, the children laughed and cheered together. Beyond the fun, this activity helped them understand how farmers care for the cows every day.
Next, the children had the chance to observe the dairy cows up close. With guidance from farmers, the children also learned interesting facts about the daily life of dairy cows.
The most unforgettable moment came when the children got to feed the cows themselves. What started as a bit of hesitation quickly turned into excitement and confidence. Some children even giggled as they felt the warm, gentle touch of a cow while feeding it.
