From rustic rattan fibers… to the stories told by little hands
Some experiences are not just for discovery, but for feeling. Our field trip to “Mây Tre Lá Thành Lộc” provided exactly that for our Little People students. Here, the children listened and learned about the process of creating rattan and bamboo products—from simple, rustic materials to everyday items in our lives. Moving beyond just observing, they explored the workshop and saw firsthand the beautiful creations made from these natural fibers.
The most memorable moment was when the children hand-painted their own rattan fans. Each fan carries its own color and unique mark—a reflection of each child’s creativity and perception.
It was a gentle yet meaningful journey where the children didn’t just learn about the value of traditional crafts, but also experienced, created, and connected with the simple, beautiful things around them.
