Science projects recap – A wonderful journey of discovery!
The Science Projects at our Lào Cai and Lái Thiêu campuses have officially come to a close, marking an exciting and enriching learning journey for our young explorers. Throughout the project, students not only observed and explored but also actively participated in hands-on experiments and real-life experiences, sparking their curiosity and love for science.
Exploring the Underwater World – “The Fish” Project
Our little scientists observed the shapes, structures, and movements of fish while learning about how they float and sink through a swim bladder model. Under a magnifying glass, they were amazed to see the intricate patterns on fish scales—details invisible to the naked eye. Beyond theoretical learning, they took care of real fish, fed them, and gained a deeper understanding of underwater life.
The Magical Journey of Life – “The Playful Bean” Project
Starting with tiny beans, children explored plant growth through hands-on experiments, soaking beans in water, soil, and damp cotton. Their excitement grew daily as they watched the seeds sprout and develop. The learning experience extended beyond observation—students also experimented with making soy milk, bean sprouts, and sweet bean soup, connecting science with everyday life. These activities nurtured their observation skills, patience, and appreciation for food sources.
“The Rice Grain of Our Village” Project
Through small rice grains, students uncovered the growth cycle of rice plants, with each stage offering valuable lessons about nature. They observed dried rice grains, examined the protective outer husk, and conducted water-immersion tests to track germination. After weeks of care, they successfully grew mini rice plants, closely monitoring their development and sharing their observations. To make the experience even more meaningful, children and their families created adorable rice ball shapes together, blending science with the warmth of home cooking.
These projects provided an engaging, hands-on approach to scientific exploration, fostering children’s curiosity and awareness of the environment. A heartfelt thank you to our dear parents for supporting your children throughout this journey! We hope these valuable lessons will continue to be applied in daily life, nurturing a lifelong love for science and discovery.
See you in our next exciting project!
