The achievements of our little “Courteous”
Character education involves a wide range of areas, from understanding, emotions to behavior and daily habits. It is truly wonderful when children develop politeness, a sense of personal responsibility within their community, and the ability to leave a positive impression from the very first meeting. This project focused on helping children understand proper manners in communication, dining etiquette, and appropriate behavior in public places. Even small acts of courtesy at home, with family members, are just as important.
Together, the children worked as a team to divide tasks and complete their class poster—an accomplishment that reflects their hard work throughout the project. At the project’s conclusion, teachers and students counted the stars their class earned, rewarding the most “courteous” children for their good manners: “I help my mom set the table and clean up after meals,” “I sit nicely and don’t talk during lessons,” “I greet my parents before going to school and say hello to my teachers when I arrive,” “I eat quietly at the table,” “I keep my hands inside the elevator and do not reach out the window,”—and many more positive behaviors they practiced.
Thank you, dear children, for your efforts! Courtesy grows through small yet meaningful actions every day.
Let’s all revisit these valuable lessons and continue to encourage our children to practice them regularly—building lasting habits and positive behaviors together!
