“The tortoise and the hare” – fun English learning and creative role play
Today’s English lesson was extra special for our Little 2 classes! The classic fable “The Tortoise and the Hare” came to life in a lively, laughter-filled storytelling session.
After listening to the story in English, the children took turns transforming into the tortoise and the hare, joining a fun obstacle race just like in the tale. Some were as patient as the tortoise, others as quick as the hare — everyone was fully immersed and excited to take on the challenge!
Next came the art activity, where the little artists drew their own versions of the tortoise, expressing creativity through colors and imagination. To wrap up, they arranged story pictures in the correct sequence — a wonderful way to build logical thinking and strengthen memory.
Today’s ESL activity not only helped the children learn English naturally, but also nurtured their movement skills, creativity, and language development — true to the spirit of “learning through play” at Little People!
