Workshop 2 “Tidying up toys is easy” – Turning cleanup into fun!
For many families, reminding children to clean up their toys can feel like a daily “battle.” Kids love to spread out their toys, create, and explore—but tidying up? Not so much. So, how can we turn cleaning up into a natural, effortless habit without nagging or forcing? The recent workshop *”Tidying Up Toys is Easy”* was an engaging and practical experience that provided answers to this very question!
In a warm and lively atmosphere, parents didn’t just listen but actively participated in hands-on experiences, discovering methods to help children develop self-discipline and organization in a natural and joyful way.
Together, parents:
✅ Gained an understanding of children’s psychology: Why do kids often delay tidying up? What makes them resistant to cleaning up?
✅ Explored effective strategies: How can we encourage kids to clean up without resorting to scolding or forcing?
✅ Practiced “turning cleaning into a game”: Parents stepped into their children’s shoes, using creative and engaging approaches to transform a dull task into a fun daily activity.
One of the most memorable moments was when parents joined hands-on activities, experiencing the world from a child’s perspective—understanding their struggles, challenges, and joy in tidying up in their own way. Instead of making cleaning up a rigid chore, parents discovered techniques tailored to their child’s personality, turning what was once a “battle” into a positive habit and a loving family bonding moment.
✨ Thank you to all the parents who participated and shared your wonderful stories! We hope that after this workshop, tidying up will no longer be a stressful task but rather an enjoyable journey—one where parents and children learn, grow, and cherish their time together.
